
Samsung is rolling out the October Security Patch to a whole bunch of its smartphones in the US, starting with the Galaxy A50 last week and now with its Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 handsets. As Samsung's wide range of handsets gets the October patch, we'll be updating this post accordingly, making a separate post for November's security patch, and so on.
Updated October 19th: Samsung is rolling out new firmware to the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy S9 and S9+ that includes the One UI 2.5 update as well as the October 2020 Security Patch. The update is being sent out via OTA and, as is typical with these things, will be pushed out in stages over the next few days and weeks.
Updated October 14th: Added T-Mobile and Verizon variants that are now receiving the October Patch.
Samsung's October Patch includes the fixes in Google's Android Security bulletin along with brand-specific tweaks and improvements to stability and security. The unlocked phones listed below have either already received or are currently receiving the October Security Patch via OTA:

We'll be updating the post as and when other models receive the October Security Patch. If you haven't received a notification of a pending OTA update, you may want to open up the Settings app and scroll down to the Software Update menu so see if it's available.
