Google is apparently working out a revamped UI for its recently rebranded Nest Hub, and it'll eventually come to both the Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max. Regardless of which screen size you've got set up, you'll get a new interface that brings dedicated pages for each action you might want to do, plus that always-coveted dark mode.
New Google Nest Hub interface
The interface really seems to revolve around putting your usual Nest Hub actions into actionable boxes, which then launch into their own pages. Google has uploaded some images to illustrate the direction they're going.

When you tap that Weather entry, you'll get a dedicated page that shows the upcoming forecast, for instance, and there's a huge new interface for smart home control that was sorely lacking from the Google Nest Hub and similar devices lately.
There's also a new Your Morning tab that shows the weather forecast, upcoming events and meetings on your calendar, quick controls for your smart home, shortcuts to timers, and presumably more contextual actions and cards.

Additionally, there are some extra goodies in this upcoming overhaul including dark mode for the entire interface, a Media page that connects to other devices in your home to stream movies and TV, shortcuts to play relaxing sounds to sleep to, and autoframing for Google Meet, at least on the Nest Hub Max, plus more things to look forward to.
Unfortunately, we don't have a timeline for the Google Nest Hub update, but if Google's talking about things like this we should hopefully see it by the end of the year.
