We may be looking forward to August 5th when Samsung will officially launch the Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Z Flip 5G, but the Korean giant is already prepping to announce another handset sporting the Snapdragon 865 processor sometime during Q4, according to a usually reliable leaker. Known as the Galaxy Fan Edition, S20 Fan Edition, or Galaxy S20 FE, the handset could launch before the end of 2020 with a smattering of flagship features at a reasonable price.

According to Ice Universe, the Galaxy Fan Edition will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 processor under the hood with a 120Hz display which, knowing Samsung, will probably be an AMOLED panel. There'll be IP68 certification for water-resistance, and apparently, a 3.3mm hole, which one would surmise is a typo and actually means 3.5mm audio jack.

Perhaps most intriguing is that the phone is believed to also feature a ‘nice price', which would almost be a novel thing for Samsung's premium smartphones. We don't know anything about how big the display is, its resolution, nor what level of photography the galaxy S20 Fan Edition might offer, so there's still a lot of details to be leaked between now and when it eventually launches.

Do you see a place for the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition in Samsung's current lineup? Let us know in the comments below.
