When it comes to getting the most bang for your buck, Realme might have already snagged the 2020 crown with its new X50m 5G smartphone that combines a Snapdragon 765G processor, a 120Hz display, and quad rear camera setup. All for under $300. That's no typo, the Realme X50m 5G costs under $300, 1,999 yuan, or ~$280 to be exact, for the 6GB/128GB variant.

As mentioned, the Realme X50m 5G is powered by Qualcomm's new mid-range processor, the Snapdragon 765G, that has an integrated 5G modem. The SoC is paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage for both variants.
The star of the show has to be the 6.57-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution and its incredible 120Hz refresh rate. Bearing in mind that only flagship phones such as the OPPO Find X2 Pro, Galaxy S20, and the OnePlus 8 Pro feature such high refresh rates, this is huge for a handset costing less than $300.
Remarkably, there are more standout features such as the big 4,300mAh battery, 30W fast wired charging, Dual-mode 5G, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Dolby Atmos, and a rear camera setup consisting of four camera sensors. There's a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP Macro sensor, and a 2MP Depth-of-Field sensor. And, if that isn't enough, the phone runs Android 10 out of the box.
Now that we've whetted your appetite for a phone that seemingly has it all for less than three hundred smackeroos, it's time to deliver the bad news. For the moment, there is new news on when or if the X50m 5G will become available outside of China, where it is scheduled to go on sale from April 29th in Galaxy White and Starry Blue colors from 1,999 yuan (~$280) for the 6GB/128GB version, and 2,299 (~$325) for the 8GB/128GB option.
