Poco Season 2 is incoming - could be rebadged Redmi K30 variant 3

After wowing us back in 2018 with the Poco F1 that boasted flagship specifications such as the Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB/8GB of RAM, and upwards of 64GB of built-in storage with a starting price of just $300/$329, Xiaomi's budget brand was eerily silent during 2019. Now spun off from Xiaomi as its own brand, it would seem that Poco will finally announce a follow-up phone during 2020, as alluded to on its Twitter account.

Besides recapping previous accomplishments achieved in support of the Poco F1, fans are being asked to prepare for POCO: Season 2, with the promise of a further update to be revealed tomorrow. While we can probably expect the Poco 2 to be announced soon, tomorrow's update may turn out to be the announcement of when stable builds Android 10/MIUI 11 will start rolling out to the Poco F1.

A previous tweet showed a video of something that could easily be mistaken for the intro to the “Person of Interest” TV show but is likely just another teaser for the Poco 2 phone. Confirmed details on the actual Poco 2 phone are non-existent, but there is a rumor that it may turn out to be a rebadged version of Redmi's K30 which features a Snapdragon 730G processor, 6GB/8GB of RAM, up to 256GB of built-in storage and a big 4,500mAh battery.

What do you think Poco's “Season 2” will bring to the table?
