Yesterday Google announced that they'll be moving away from naming Android releases after desserts, and Android Q will officially be Android 10. There's a ton of good reasons for that, especially with certain desserts and treats not really making sense in some countries around the world. Q, for example, would've actually be really hard to pin down in the US, since we don't have very many sweet treats that start with Q.
But we want to know how you guys feel about the change. Do you agree with Google's shift to regular numbers instead of nicknames, or do you prefer the casual names that make releases a little more fun?
And more importantly, what would you have named Android Q? Quiche? Some weird brand deal with a company named Q, like we saw with Kit Kat? Something else completely?
Queso Tarta
I thought a deal with Nestle for Quik, but now I see it has been called Nesquik since 1999.
Maybe it’s more of an “S”, but my first thought would be a hostess partnership for “Suzy Qs”
