Google Pay gets dark mode 4

Google continues its rollout of the dark theming option to its apps, now reaching their popular mobile wallet and payment system in its latest update.

After steaming ahead with a total white-out of their mobile app suite last year, Google finally realised what we have all known for a long time; that dark modes are easier on the eyes and the batteries, and ever since they've been slowly rolling out optional dark grey reskins of said apps.

The latest such app to receive a dark mode is Google Pay, the company's widely-used (at least outside of the US) mobile account management and payment service, and it's the next small step to a slightly more unified user interface from the company's apps.

The dark mode option is popping up in Google Pay's latest 2.96 update currently rolling out via the Google Play Store, and no APK is yet available given its limited availability so far.
