Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 line has had a bad time with batteries, and we probably don't need to dig all of that up again. But Samsung hasn't forgotten, and that might be why they're hesitant to put super fast charging in the Note 10, which will probably be jam-packed with other bits of hardware and features.
In fact, it looks like Samsung will instead be debuting 45w fast charging in the Galaxy A90, continuing Samsung's trend of testing out certain features in their mid-range devices before putting them in flagship phones.
Samsung will be opting for a slightly slower 25w charging feature in the Note 10, which is still really fast, but is also probably a safer bet if Samsung's worried about a battery explosion fiasco repeat.
But, like all other rumors, take it with a grain of salt. Samsung could be testing multiple versions of the Note 10 with different charging speeds, or the 45w charging could also only be available in the more premium Note 10 Pro models. Until Samsung officially says anything, it's all up in the air.
