RIP Galaxy Apps. You'll be remembered by someone, somewhere. At least one person, probably.
The app itself isn't really going anywhere, but Samsung is changing it up ahead of its Galaxy S10 announcement tomorrow. Galaxy Apps will become Galaxy Store, and it's getting a OneUI redesign to better match the rest of Samsung's app suite.
You'll still be able to download Fortnite and, uh, whatever else Samsung offered on their own app store, it'll just be called something a little different now. And Galaxy Store seems to raise the ceiling on the store, too, in case Samsung ever decides to get back into selling other kinds of digital content. They might end up rolling their Shop Samsung app into this, too.
If for some reason you were really attached to the Galaxy Apps name, you'll unfortunately be forced to update. Samsung has turned off the ability for older versions of the app to connect to the right backend, so you'll have to update before continuing. The good news is that your app will look better afterward.

Much easier to manage one-handed, and it looks pretty much like everything else Samsung is doing these days, which is great.
And yes, there's very little doubt that will be the preinstalled version of the Galaxy S10 that gets announced tomorrow. Samsung is getting everything organized before the curtain finally gets pulled back.
