As Samsung gears up to launch its Galaxy S10 flagship smartphones on February 20 in San Francisco, it appears that its Galaxy F foldable smartphone made an inadvertent appearance in a promotional video showing off a bunch of conceptual technologies. The foldable smartphone being shown looks very much like the device that Samsung teased towards the tail-end of 2018.

Besides the foldable smartphone that appears multiple times in the video sourced by SlashLeaks, you can see devices such as a robotic tattooing machine, a smartphone ultrasound scan, interactive mirrors, as well as the Galaxy S9+ and Note 9 that launched in 2018.
It's thought that the Galaxy F will sport a 7.3-inch inner Infinity Flex OLED display that can bend as the phone is folded and unfolded, and a 4.6-inch OLED panel on the exterior. As for the rest of the hardware, it's anyone's guess what the Galaxy F has in store. we can make some educated guesses in that it will be powered by either the Snapdragon 855 processor or Samsung's own Exynos 9820 chipset. There should be at least 4GB of RAM, and likely a minimum of 128GB of built-in storage. With an expected price tag of $1770, the Galaxy F foldable smartphone should boast flagship level specifications. At least, we hope it does because Samsung isn't the only brand developing a foldable smartphone, with competitors such as LG, Xiaomi, Huawei, and even Motorola readying their own devices with foldable displays.
What do you think of foldable smartphones? Are smartphone brands rushing this immature technology to market too soon?
