Xfinity Mobile added a new device to their portfolio of smartphones available for consumers signing up for the wireless service. The LG X Charge is aimed at users who really do not like to hook up their phone to a charger thanks to the massive 4,500mAh battery. According to LG's Chang Ma, President of LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc., “the LG X Charge was designed to meet the demands of users who want maximum usage from their smartphones between charges, paired with the advanced flagship features they care about most, like a large HD screen.”
The LG X Charge comes equipped with a 5.5-inch HD display running at 1280 x 720 resolution, will come with either 2GB or 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, and a microSD slot that can handle cards up to 2TB in size. The cameras include a 13MP rear-facing camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. Despite the extremely large battery, there is no indication the LG X Charge supports fast charging, so users will have to plan on leaving the phone on the charger overnight if they need to recharge the whole thing.

As you may have noted, Ma references “advanced flagship features” but the hardware appears to be more in line with budget devices outside of the massive battery. That market position is supported by the price as the LG X Charge can be purchased for a mere $180 or only $7.50 per month on a 24 month payment plan. Xfinity Mobile and LG are making the LG X Charge available in any color you want as long as it is Titan Black.
