Once again, Jimmy Kimmel is proving that iPhone owners are practically oblivious to the world around them. The host of the late-night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live sent his team out into the streets of Hollywood to give the public its first look at the iPhone 7 from Apple; however, it's not really an iPhone 7 the people are holding as the device hasn't been released yet.
Instead of swapping phones, the street reporter simply hands the uninformed the same phone they already have. The only difference is that their phone has been cleaned and put into a a different case. Somehow, doing those two things can cause people to think they have an entirely different phone.

Notice that these people actually believe their iPhone has become thinner, lighter, and faster. They even claim to notice a sharper display, which is impossible as the iPhone 7 and iPhone 6S have identical displays right down their resolutions.
Apple will release the iPhone 7 on September 16.

It's nice seeing that Kimmel didn't let the Disney-Apple partnership overrule his content like The View did last week. While the comedian could've sold himself out and boosted his employer's standing with Disney, Kimmel moved forward with a friendly, funny joke.

All this really proves is that the power of suggestion is strong, especially coupled with an authoritative figure with a microphone and a guy with a TV camera. It’s not proof that these people are stupid.
So what! You could easily do the same thing to Samsung users. Obviously they didn’t show the people they didn’t fool.
That’s going to be much harder to do.
The introduction of curve screen would have given up the gig pretty quickly. Plus, there have been many visual tweaks.
Plus, most people would see their customised layout and know it’s still their own. It’s pretty easy to confuse when everyone’s phone is the same grid of icons.
The theme today is to make fools of people. So hilarious.
