This morning, Verizon began rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow to three phones on its network — the LG G4, LG G3, and HTC One M9 from Big Red are getting that boost to the latest version of Google's mobile operating system. With it comes everything we know and love about Marshmallow while, ranging from Now on Tap to better handling of app permissions.

Changelogs for the G4 and G3 are identical, with only the software versions differing:
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow
- Wi-Fi Calling
- Now on Tap
- Doze mode
- Runtime Permissions
- Silent mode
- Direct share
- Google settings
- Controlling Notifications
The software version for the G4 is VS98624C while the G3's is VS98546A.

The software update for the One M9, software version 3.37.605.7, brings much of the same:
- Android 6.0 Marshmallow
- Now on Tap
- Android Pay
- Custom volume controls
- Quick actions for screenshots
Verizon usually does slow roll outs for its software updates, so don't be surprised if it takes a few days for your phone to get Marshmallow. And make sure you have enough free space! Marshmallow is a huge upgrade which needs ample room to download and install.
