Samsung isn't pulling any punches with marketing for their Gear S smartwatch. They've already posted up an “unofficial review” of the watch, and you can also check out a TV commercial that shows off how the watch will completely integrate into your lifestyle. It's nothing flashy, but it demonstrates using the watch without having your phone on you all the time, which is really the stand-out feature here.
Smartwatches are a tricky market, and there's still plenty of room for multiple manufacturers to capture big chunks of market share. Samsung's getting the ball rolling early with tons of devices and heavy marketing, which worked wonders for their smartphone market share.

I bought my Gear S the morning it came out it is what i wanted my Gear 2 to be but wasn’t even the slightest it’s easy to judge something you’ve never had you’re hands on but until you go hands on and see everything it is capable of you’re opinion is biased, it fits so much better than my Gear 2 did the Gear 2.
Felt kind of bulky on my wrist but the Gear s with it’s curved body doesn’t have this problem it feels thinner and the fact that the charger has a built-in battery of it’s own is a major plus should you find yourself in a situation where you’re unable to plug in.
Also it’s possible to wear the watch while the charger is attached but you’ll have to adjust you’re band to make it more comfortable. So far my battery life is good and photos I uploaded from my phone look great on the watch I was actually surprised at this.
I also found I could set the watch and my Galaxy S5 to forward my calls if for some reason I don’t answer my cell phone it will automatically forward the call to my watch and of course if my Gear S looses connection with my S5 after so many seconds unless I change the settings it will turn on it’s mobile data and become a solo phone. It also has it’s own phone number for those moments.
When it’s not connected, As far as a data plan goes Sprint changed me to a family share plan of 28 GB for $100.00 so everything from my Galaxy S5, Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and my Gear S are all under one plan.
