LG Tribute now available on Virgin Mobile

Yesterday, we reported that Virgin Mobile would be one the first carriers in the United States to offer LG’s latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Tribute, and now you can order the handset from the operator's website for just $79.99 on a prepaid plan.

In case you need a refresher of its specs, the Tribute packs a 4.5-inch WVGA display (800 x 480 pixels), a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal flash memory, a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2,100mAh removable battery.

Out of the box, the handset will run the latest build of Android 4.4.4 KitKat skinned with LG’s impressive ‘G’ custom user interface, which furnishes users with access to the full suite of standard Google apps, including Gmail, Maps and YouTube. In addition, the South Korean company has incorporated some of its exclusive software features, like Knock Code, Smart Notice and Dual Window.
