NVIDIA pushes software update full of enhancements and fixes to Shield Tablet

On the same day it releases the LTE version, NVIDIA is rolling out a software update to its tablet. The Shield Tablet is getting a bunch of enhancements and fixes to improve the user experience. Perhaps the most important part of the update is the improved touch performance. For games requiring a touch, this is great. It is even better for the stylus included with the Shield Tablet due to precision getting a boost.

The software update, upgrade 1.2, includes the following:

Enhanced SHIELD Hub Features
Network Test capability
User Customizable ‘My Android Games' and ‘My Media Apps'
Share ‘News' items, swipe between articles
Improved Touch Performance
Misc. Stability and Localization Improvements
