Samsung, Barnes & Noble co-hosting event August 20 to launch Galaxy Tab 4 Nook

The next few weeks will not contain just one Samsung event, but rather two of them. As just about everyone knows, the company will host a global event at multiple locations across the world presumably to launch the Galaxy Note 4. That is scheduled for September 3. Just before that, on August 20, Samsung will be co-hosting an event with Barnes & Noble.

What will be at this event? The Galaxy Tab 4 Nook. The tablet will combine Samsung's hardware with a good amount of Barnes & Noble's Nook software. The event will rightfully take place at the bookseller's Union Square location in New York City. When it was announced, the tablet was slated to arrive sometime in August. With an event taking place at a retail location, there is a very good chance that the tablet is made available on August 20 as well.
