In case you missed it, July 8th Israel launched an offensive on Gaza in response to a rise in Hamas activity. The conflict has led to almost two thousand Palestinian casualties, most of which were civilians. Needless to say, the ongoing conflict in Gaza is no joke, and its definitely not good subject matter for a game.
In questionable taste, PlayFTW developed the “Bomb Gaza” app, a war simulator of sorts where players bomb Gaza while evading missile attack from Hamas soldiers in black and green masks. While the app is still available on Facebook, Google has pulled it from the Play Store after the game triggered outrage among users. A spokesman for the company simply said, “We remove apps from Google Play that violate our policies.”
Though the spokesman didn't specify which policy the developers had violated, Google has a very strict policy against hate speech, bullying and violence. The app had only been downloaded about a thousand times in the short time it was available and PlayFTW have yet to comment on the matter. Discuss the matter in the comments section below.

If they don’t like it, then they shouldn’t play it. Simple. Whiny brats.
Good job Google!!
