If you've got a semi-new HTC phone, you might have noticed that HTC has started adding key Sense 6 apps to the Play Store so that it can roll out updates to users much easier than the usual OTA update process.

Today, HTC's clock app for Sense 6 has appeared in the Play Store. This means that in the future, any software improvements to the clock app will be handled through the Play Store.

As of now, it's showing only 10-50 downloads for the app in the Play Store, and it's incompatible with my M8 on Verizon, and we're hearing that it's incompatible with some M7's as well. It seems a bit odd that it wouldn't work with two of HTC's biggest flagships, so we're guessing HTC is blocking availability to these devices until it works out some kinks in the software.

Is the app incompatible with your phone as well? Let us know in the comments section below.

  1. Think it only works on HTC phones with android 4.4.3 +. My Sprint HTC One M8 had an update for the keyboard and clock two days ago .
