Google brightens things up with yellow Nexus 5

Over at the Google web site for all things Android, in the Phones & Tablets section you may notice a new option for the Nexus 5. According to the description, the device is available in four colors. Black, white and red have all been available, but a new choice – yellow – is now listed in the block of text. If you are interested in a yellow Nexus 5, it looks like you will need to be patient for a while longer though. Following the link to the Google Play store to place an order shows yellow missing from the choices offered to buyers.

Thus far, Google has not released any information regarding this new yellow version of the Nexus 5 or when it may actually be available to order. It is not clear what shade of yellow the device may come in, but Google does sell a bright yellow bumper case for the Nexus 5 as shown below. That could be the shade they go for.
