Easter egg hunt for Google I/O 2014 registration codes concludes

During the past couple weeks, some Google developers have been on an Easter egg hunt that yielded a registration code for this year's Google I/O event. The hunt commenced as developers found leads that unlocked access to a text-based robot assistant named Icarus Odessa. I.O. then led the programs on a space-themed text adventure game. Along the way, the hunt exposed developers to several different Google products and platforms like:

Google Developers home – a source for APIs, documentation, developer tools, programs, trainings, and open-source projects;
YouTube channels – covering Android and Google Developer topics, the YouTube channels include tutorials, overviews and news updates;
Udacity videos – a site for online education opportunities, notably including mobile web development and HTML5 game development.

The game Google setup eventually led developers to the coordinates for the Moscone Center West and an opportunity to attend in person.
