Robot lawnmowers have been around for a while, but most of them still require you to spend an afternoon burying boundary wires before you can even think about sitting back and relaxing. Eufy's new C15 takes a different approach — no wires, no RTK station, just cameras and AI doing the heavy lifting.

How It Works

The C15 uses Pure Vision FSD technology — a system built around high-precision cameras and intelligent AI algorithms that maps your garden, plots a mowing path, and handles obstacle avoidance without any physical boundary setup. Plug it in, let it do an initial mapping run, and it figures out the rest.

That obstacle avoidance is worth flagging, because it's a genuinely common concern with robot mowers. The C15's 3D perception system detects obstacles before they become a problem. More importantly for anyone with pets or kids, it also detects small animals and stops immediately if one wanders into the path. It's also smart enough to steer around flower beds and plants rather than just mowing through everything.

Coverage is handled by a Smart coverage detection system with Ride-on-Edge technology, which means the cut goes right to the edges of your lawn rather than leaving an untrimmed strip around the border. Scheduling, zone setting, and monitoring are all handled through the free eufy app — it'll even return itself to the dock automatically if rain is detected or light levels drop too low.

Noise-wise, eufy quotes 58dB, which is quieter than a normal conversation. You could realistically run this thing while people are in the garden without it being particularly intrusive.

The eufy C15 Robot Lawnmower is available now at £999 from Amazon UK and eufy.com/uk.

It's not cheap, but if you've got a complex garden and you're done fiddling with wires and docking stations, the wire-free setup alone is probably worth the premium over mid-range options.
