You have to hand it to T-Mobile, they have really stirred the mobile carrier pot with their UN-Carrier programs. Verizon has been waiting and watching, but once AT&T jumped into the war, Verizon was forced to do something. That something is “More Everything,” which will give customers more data (or cheaper pricing) and international messaging.
More Everything replaces the Shared Everything plan with lower prices across the board. So you have a choice of either lowering your monthly payment, or staying with the same payment and grabbing more data. In certain situations, you might actually double your data. Plus, they are also finally offering a further discount for those that are in the Edge program. It has been a huge beef for many that Verizon continued to offer the same monthly rates for those that are willing to pay full retail for their phones.
Just like the Share Everything Plan, each smartphone costs $40 per month for the Monthly Line Access fee, which includes unlimited minutes and texts. You then have to add in your shared data charges, and More Everything brings better pricing. The lower data tiers (up to 2GB) drop in price by $5 to $10 per month, and they added a 3GB tier for $60 per month. If you are in the Edge program, you get an additional discount of $10 per month. Now Verizon didn't alter the pricing for the data tiers that are 4GB and higher for contract customers, but they did extend the $10 per month discount ($20 for 10GB) for all tiers to Edge customers. See the chart below (all pricing includes the $40 Monthly Line Access fee)…..
This is a decent start for Verizon, but the discount for Edge customers is still not enough. $10 savings per month equates to $120 annually or $240 for 2 years. Considering that most of their phones are $600 to $650 for the full retail price, that is a net of $360 to $410 over 2 years. They are obviously giving a much higher subsidy to those that sign a 2-year contact since they are able to buy the phone for $200. So it still doesn't make sense to buy a phone off contract with Verizon, but if you have to be on the network, the $10 monthly discount is better than nothing.
Another new feature for the More Everything plan is that you get unlimited texting to anywhere in the world. In addition, they are offering $0.01/minute to Canada and Mexico, and $0.05/minute to many other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Also, if you are in need of cloud storage, Verizon is offering More Everything customers up to 25 GB (or up to 250 GB on a 10 line account) of their own cloud storage option.
Lastly, you can also opt for the Family Base option, which is free for the first 3 months and $5.00 per month thereafter. Family Base allows you to monitor your children's cell phones. You can hit the second source link for more info on that service.

to discount in our plan of 2 phones and 6G data. This sucks – who gets excited about paying the same?
yawn
$90/month instead of $100/month for 2GB of data? WHAT A DEAL!
