Samsung developing a service named Context that shares user data with developers

People are very sensitive when it comes to their privacy. Anything that jeopardizes it is always faced with a ton of backlash. But that doesn't seem to stop Samsung from creating Context. It is a service that will share your data with app developers, according to The Information. Context would take what users type, apps used, and data collected by sensors to share with app developers; therefore, developers know how they can tailor an experience for a specific user. One example named would be launching sports highlights for someone who typically searches topics relating to sports. At this time, it is unknown if Context will see daylight as Samsung has not decided if it is valuable.

The Information was also able to confirm that Google met with Samsung just one day before Lenovo purchased Motorola. Re/code previously reported that this meeting was about toning down Samsung's software overlay, something Google was very unhappy about. The new user interface really disatisfied
