Although many attendees and followers of CES 2014 event may be checking out all of the top-end gear announced by manufacturers, that doesn't mean other market segments are left out. Case in point, Acer showed up at CES 2014 with their new, updated versions of the Acer Iconia line of tablets. In this video, we found the Acer Iconia B1-720, a 7-inch device that is at the bottom of the product line. Still, the Iconia B1-720 comes equipped with a 1.3GHz processor and a 1024×600 resolution screen. Acer ships the unit with Android 4.2.2 without any additional UI. There are no plans to update the unit to newer versions of Android. The suggested MSRP is $129, so street prices should be significantly lower. It may not be a device to knock anyone's socks off, but it should perform basic tablet duties quite well.

Check out a quick hands-on video with the Acer Iconia B1-720 after the break and watch TalkAndroid for more coverage from CES 2014.
