LG has fully unveiled their LG G Flex in Korea. With the flexible display being the point of emphasis, it should be noted that the 3500 mAh battery is also bendable. The benefits are quite remarkable. If the device drops, the flexible device can absorb the shock, allowing a better chance of survival. And the back plate of the G Flex actually has this remarkable self-repairable material.

Two cases made their way to public eyes at the unveiling. The same Quick Window cover case from the LG G2 is available for the G Flex (seen at the top of this page). The other case is a simple one that snaps onto the device and does not cover the entire back plate (above). Could it be that LG wants you to test its self-repairing technology on the back plate?

LG is also giving the G Flex a brand new lock screen. There are interactive backgrounds. For example, a solar circle now appears at the top of the screen when you scroll your finger along the display. At the bottom, water will move around based on your movements.

The G Flex can multitask in the same way Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S 4 can. Two apps can be opened at once in a windows-style. As you can see in the image above, running a video on one side and Chrome on the other is possible.

And finally, the camera. The G Flex has two LEDs for better facial detection. The two LEDS are white and green, allowing for better accuracy. An interesting combination, but it has yet to be fully detailed on how it functions.
