A few weeks ago we learned that Vivo was taking specs to the next level with their Xplay 3S smartphone by giving it a 2K (2,560 x 1,440) display. Now we finally have a look at the rear of the device. In the image above, you can see the very simplistic backing that the Chinese manufacturer is going with. In a way it resembles the HTC One with its drilled speaker grills, but with a wider body. Also, the camera seems to carry the same shape as the lens from the Galaxy Note 3. Who knows, maybe Vivo is feeling inspired by everyone else. Oh, and it reportedly has a fingerprint scanner like the HTC One Max.

As for specs, the Vivo Xplay 3S is expected to have a 5.7-inch screen with 4K resolution. Is that necessary? I'd say no, but it sure is nice to have. Running the show is Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 with 3GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery. And to go with that 2K screen is a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP one up front. Stick around for more information on this phone and its crystal clear display.
