Vivo, the company bent on delivering the world's thinnest smartphone makes headlines again with new renderings of their device sporting a rotating Nikon camera with some pretty hefty specs as far as cameras go. With hardware that appears to be pretty darn close to completion it's only a matter of time until an official announcement is made. As you can tell from the pics, courtesy of our friends over at Phonearena, the handset sports a nifty rotating camera lense with dual LED flash support. In addition, it's said that the device will sport a 1/1.7-inch, 20.2 mp CMOS sensor and an aperture of f/2.0 accompanied by a Nikon EXPEED chip. This sounds pretty impressive for the photographer enthusiast, but can Vivo pull this off? Only time will tell and we're certainly looking forward to this device entering the market and competing with the latest, such as the Oppo N1. Will devices like this begin to shape how manufacturers design and build their cameras? We certainly hope so. At this time, I'm not really sure how I feel about the cube design for the device's camera housing, favoring the N1's curved design more however, things have certainly been known to grow on me in the industry and I often find myself liking something months down the road that I didn't initially like during launch. In any event, it appears this badboy is close to production so feel free to let us know what you like and don't like about it in the comments below. Hit the break for a few more shots of the handset judge the design for yourself.
