HTC Sent out invites for events in both Hong Kong and Taiwan for what will most likely be the HTC One Max. The dates for both events are October 16 and 18, respectively. Seems odd, but it was also confirmed that the official global launch will take place in China on October 15. The invitations say, “One finger opens up a big view” and “You are invited to immerse in the sound with us,” which are obvious references to the fingerprint scanner and BoomSound.

Those of us in the U.S. might get a chance to buy the HTC One Max since it's rumored to hit Verizon.
