SEGA has released another title from their Sonic franchise for play on Android devices. This time it is Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing which combines the Sonic the Hedgehog character with 13 other iconic SEGA characters for some racing action similar to Mario Kart. The title provides 16 different courses and as is typical with these types of titles, there are a variety of power-ups, special abilities, weapons and traps that can be used to help gain an advantage over the competition.

The new title includes 25 missions to help players build up their skills before taking on the other racers in Battle Mode or one of the Grand Prix Cup competitions. If you want to step things up even more, you can take on up to three other players in an online multiplayer race.

Hit the break to check out some screen shots and a video for Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing. If you want to give it a try, you will have to lay out $1.99 on Google Play via the download links provided.
