Intel's Bay Trail-T SoC  features four Silvermont cores and is geared towards tablets. We are expecting to see devices in the fall, but to give you a better look at what to expect, take a look at the above leaked AnTuTu benchmark. The code name is byt_t_ffrd10 and is most likely a reference device that is running Android 4.2.2. The latest leak is the top one, which has a clock speed of 1.4GHz and comes in at a whopping 49,489. Earlier it came in at 43,416, but with a clock speed of only 1.1GHz. To give you a comparison, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 comes in around 30,000.

Intel has been trying to make headway into the mobile market, and the Bay Trail-T might be just what the doctor ordered.

  1. Atleast there is a “spark of smoke, and no somke without fire.”
Will intel chips one day deliver PC/Laptop functionality to tablet/smartphones…time will tell.

  2. Hey a intel bay trail-T dual core @1.1Ghz give 43,416 score and dual core @ 1.464 Ghz given a score 49,489 so a dual core of 2.00 Ghz will gie exact 55,526 then what will the intel’s quad core bay trail-T @ 2.0 GHz will give above 80K?
    When will it come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. In fact, i personally that it’s a 640×800 phone… So Full HD phones performance will be less good. (I prefer Snapdragon 805 with 2k or 4k)

      1. we just don’t care about intel bay trail-t now. just new snapdragon or tegra. benchmarks does not matters to me.

  3. antutu v4 test results should be interesting to compare at some point. but what really concerns me is that score is very, very close to the Haswell 4500U: which scored 54,861 — in a probably $2000 Samsung ATIV Q no less. The haswell part is very expensive, and meant for, obviously, $2000 machines. It is the second most powerful haswell U part, with IRIS 5100 graphics no less.
I am doubting that these aren’t photoshopped. This one, the country code obviously looks photoshopped, the I looks a bit bent, is too short, and doesn’t reach the baseline. So now I also doubt the previous benchmark — was even a benchmark score at all.

  4. LOL already been discussed by ARM, CNET & ANTUTU, intels soc doesnt run the full benchmark which gives it a higher score, theres a flaw somewhere :p
