AT&T Announces Prices For Upcoming Samsung, Pantech Devices 4

A few days ago we told you about three new phones to be released on AT&T November 20th, the Pantech Pocket, The Samsung Doubletime and Captivate Glide. All have entry level specs and because of that, we assumed that they would carry equally reflected price tags. Well, today AT&T confirmed our suspicions and announced how much each phone would sell for.

The Samsung Captivate Glide is the highest priced device only because it comes packed with a dual-core chip, dual cameras and a Super AMOLED display. You will be able to pick up one of these QWERTY sliders for around $150 with a new service agreement.

Sammy's other debuting device, the Doubletime, also comes with a QWERTY keyboard but in clamshell form. A dual screen device, it disappoints right out of the gate due to its 600MHz processor and will hold a $50 price tag because of that reason. This won't be the choice for many power users but instead will make a great fit with the teens.

Finally, the Pantech Pocket also earns a $50 price and is interesting because of its design. Smaller than most smartphones today, the Pocket has an 800 x 600 display with a 4:3 aspect ratio. Not the greatest phone to be watching a lot of videos on, it does however look to be easily pocketable. Think that's why they named it the Pocket? :-)
