Sprint and HTC Roll Out Security Updates For Sense UI Devices 4

HTC and Sprint have been hard at work trying to fix a security issue which came to light some time last month. The two companies worked closely on the new update, ever since they found out there was a security gap with a number of Sense UI devices.

Earlier reports were that the EVO 3D was getting the update, but Sprint reports that the entire EVO line will be getting the update along with the Wildfire S.

To manually download the update  go to Settings >System updates > HTC software update > Check Now. If the update isn't there check back later. Now if only they would update Sense reloading every time I hit the home button.

Let us know if you got the update, Did it change anything noticeable? Hit us up in the comments.

  1. My sense reloads all the time. It got so annoying i finally downloaded launcherpro and am using that now. Don’t know if I’ll go back to sense….and I loved sense. (Evo 4G)
