Huawei, everyone's favorite come-from-nowhere Chinese manufacturer, recently unveiled their quad-core MediaPad 10 FHD ICS super tablet. They've been getting major geek-cred recently with their many device releases this year. Now it seems a much more conservative mid-level 7-inch tablet, code-named the MediaPad S7-301c, is getting Bluetooth certified.
According to the Bluetooth certification documents, the tablet will feature CDMA2000 1X/EVDO support, 3G voice and data, Wi-Fi, and will disappointingly run Android 3.2 Honeycomb at launch. We can safely assume Huawei will most likely upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich soon after release.
Besides that, no other information is known about this 7-incher, though it seems it will be fairly stylish, according to the Bluetooth filing:
The HUAWEI MediaPad (MediaPad for short) is a new model of touchscreen information terminal from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. The MediaPad supports 3G voice and data services and provides rich applications and experiences using Android 3.2, an operating system dedicated to tablet computers. It also delivers you convenient and high-quality network and multimedia services, making life better in work or at play. With a full touchscreen and an ultra-thin design, the technically advanced MediaPad has an original, elegant, and stylish appearance.
The Huawei MediaPad S7-301c will be released worldwide, including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South America. No word yet on when that will be, or how much it will cost.

This is amazing! I’m glad there are other tablets coming out of the market aside from iPad. I’m really interested about Huawei’s newest model. Very interesting!
