Hey, remember Graffiti on Palm devices? I have fond memories of trying to scribble out an understandable sentence, only to be greeted with “Skjir89ijsd(VV”… but that’s just my experience. For those fans of the writing platform that has been implemented all the way down to WebOS, it is now available for Android devices.
Graffiti allows the use of gestures to type out text on your mobile device, much like writing on a piece of paper, but without moving left to right. It’s simple enough to install, just head to the Market, download and install, then head into Settings > Language & Keyboard, and select Graffiti. Then, head to any text box where you can type, press & hold, tap input and choose Graffiti. The version of Graffiti right now is 1.02, same as what’s available for WebOS, but now that it’s on Android, perhaps we can expect to see more development and functionality as the days go by.
To all those who try it out, let us know what you think down in the comments!
