Feast your eyes on NEC's upcoming Android tablet, the LifeTouch. As you can see, it has a pretty slick dock, which should make charging/syncing it (and showing it off on your desk) very easy. It also has a few things in common with Samsung's upcoming Tape tablet, mainly its 7in screen (no word on if its Super AMOLED or not) as well as the A8 processor (but we don't know at what speed it's running at).
Here's a quick rundown of the features:
- ARM Cortex A8 CPU
- 7in screen w/ 800×480 resolution
- Mobile DDR 256MB
- Wi-Fi IEEE802.11b/11g
- Bluetooth Ver.2.1 + EDR
- 3MP camera
- GPS
- Weighs ~400g
- accelerometer
- internal mono mic
- internal stereo speakers
- SD/SDHC slot, two USB 2.0 ports
- 8 hours of battery life

The jury is still out on what speed the processor is running at, how much storage it has, as well as what type of screen it's going to use. But I gotta say, unless the price is going to be well under the upcoming Samsung Tape, I'm having a hard time seeing why anyone would choose the LifeTouch. Look for the LifeTouch to launch in Japan this October.

That is one ugly looking device!
