Carrot Weather is a pretty well known app on the iOS side of the market due to its very vocal personality. If you've ever wanted a weather app to insult your intelligence and drop insightful, snarky comments about the shape of clouds, well, Carrot is probably your only option.
But the good news is that those of us with Android devices won't have to miss out any more. Carrot Weather is quietly available for Android in beta, so we can get our fill of angry weather robots, too.
Unlike it's iOS counterpart, the Carrot Weather app on the Play Store is free to download, but is instead ad-supported. You can nix those ads with a Premium Club membership, which also gives you the Time Travel feature and a widget for your home screens. That Premium Club is only $0.49 per month, by the way, so don't freak out about it being an incredibly expensive weather app.
Unfortunately it's also lacking some features of the iOS version, like the different voice options, achievements, and an AR mode. It's still in development, though, so I'd imagine those options will be added in the future.
I've been using Carrot on my iOS devices for a few years now, and seriously, I love it. Give it a spin.
