Huawei’s P20 Pro has become its bestselling flagship device in Western Europe

It’s exactly a month since Huawei launched its new P20 series of smartphones that consists of the P20 Lite, P20, and the impressive P20 Pro with its trio of rear cameras and a superb finish. Huawei may be experiencing all sorts of strife with its now-canceled plans to expand into the US, but across the pond, the P20 Pro has managed to become the most successful device ever sold in Western Europe by the Chinese handset maker.

Having only been on sale for four weeks, the P20 Pro has outsold last year’s P10 Plus by a whopping margin, 316% to be exact. Besides generating 100 million RMB in revenue in the first ten seconds of being available to purchase on Huawei’s online store, Vmall, the P20 series has also garnered a whole lot of attention from blogs and smartphone fans alike.

“The HUAWEI P20 Series has also been one of the hottest search queries in Western Europe; particularly in Spain, Italy, and Germany, where HUAWEI’s newest flagships were for a time the most searched smartphone on the search engine”

We posted our review a couple of days ago, where the P20 Pro’s triple rear cameras  and mesmerizing Twilight finish impressed us mightily:

“Huawei’s latest flagship offers something for both professional and amateur photographers alike in a smartphone with both an exquisite design and high-end specifications”

If you live outside the US, have you bought a P20 Pro? If so, what are your thoughts on Huawei’s latest flagship that currently occupies the top spot on DxOMark?

Why are phone manufacturers making them longer but not wider? This just encourages people to continue to shoot cell phone videos in stupid looking portrait mode instead of the standard landscape!
