The limited edition Kentucky Flying Object (KFO) is not the first crazy packaging from KFC India. They had previously launched a takeout box with an integrated portable battery charger for your phone, the Watt-A-Box.
On January 25 and 26, an order of Smoky Grilled Wings will land you the DIY drone box at twelve KFC stores in ten cities. They also mention that the transforming box could be sold online next week as well.

Order the new KFC Smoky Grilled wings at select KFCs across ten cities, and you could get your food in a super cool packaging that turns into a flying drone, powered by your smartphone.” KFC
Timing on when the limited edition boxes will be available varies from store to store, so it's important to check your nearest participating location for times. Some will sell them from 1pm to 4pm, while others will wait until 4pm and sell through 10pm. Below is a full list of participating locations.
