Samsung confirms it’ll launch a new wearable at IFA 2017

We already know exactly what Samsung is bringing.

The Galaxy Note 8 was announced last week, but the company isn’t showing up to IFA 2017 this week empty-handed. Samsung will introduce a new wearable at the Berlin-based trade show. Its upcoming announcement was confirmed through a simple tweet. The tweet features a “Your new normal” phrase with an animation showing different environments like sunrise and mountains.

What’s going to be introduced? It’ll be the Gear Fit 2 Pro, which Samsung accidentally posted online recently and then pulled. The wearable should have a slightly tweaked design, upgraded internal specifications, and water resistance allowing it to be submerged up to 50 meters. Everything else, like the display and battery life, appears to be the same as 2016’s Gear Fit 2.

Samsung’s IFA 2017 presentation will start at 1:00PM ET on Wednesday, August 30.
