Earlier this month a pair of Huawei Mate devices leaked, and both devices are expected to be announced sometime in October. Today we're getting a bit of new info on the phones, and some clarity on exactly what they are.
Evan Blass tweeted out that the Huawei Mate 10 Pro will be codenamed Blanc, and the regular Mate 10 will be Marcel. There's a good chance this means that the Mate 10 Pro will be what we originally reported as the Mate 10, and the Mate 10 Lite will adopt the regular name.
If the earlier rumors still hold up, you can expect Blanc to use Huawei's own cutting edge Kirin 970 CPU, while Marcel, the regular Mate 10, will be slightly downgraded to cut costs.
We're expecting an announcement on October 16th in Munich directly from Huawei, and we'll keep you updated as we get closer to that date.
