The latest device to receive a major software update for Android 7.0 Nougat is the Honor 8, which was released throughout the world last summer.

A spokesperson for the Honor brand told Talk Android back in December that a software update for the Honor 8 including Nougat and EMUI 5.0 would arrive by February. Now it's February and today is the day.
Owners of the Honor 8 are currently seeing a notification appear prompting them to update to the most recent version of Android and Huawei's in-house software.
Here's what the changelog looks like:

The software update, as you can tell in the screenshot, is hefty. It's estimated that you'll need 2.27GB for the new build (FRD-L04C567B360). to get cozy on the device. There's a lot going on here between both Android and EMUI getting overhauled.
