And you thought Android phones were just for making calls. Well, the folks over at AP have posted a video of an extremely fortunate young man whose Droid Incredible battery saved his life. John Garber, a valet for Club Halo in Atlanta, was leaving the premises when two other members, who were recently thrown out, began firing at one another outside the club. A shot fired in Garbers direction, hitting him in the chest where his HTC Droid Incredible prevented the bullet from ultimately penetrating anything beyond his jacket. It’s safe to say that HTC definitely makes some reliable HARDware, don’t you think? Only God knows what would have happened to that poor guy if he was carrying a Windows Phone 7 device.
