HTC’s unannounced Desire 816h passes through TENAA

Earlier today, an unannounced scaled-down variant of HTC’s latest budget-friendly smartphone, the Desire 816, passed through China’s official nationalized certification database, TENAA.

According to information provided in the listing, the Desire 816h packs a MediaTek MT6582 chipset with a 1.7GHz octa-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable memory and an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera.

The handset will feature a variety of different connectivity options, including 3G compatibility, GSM, WCDMA, Bluetooth Class 1 (Version 4.0, LE+EDR), 802.11b/802.11g/802.11n Wi-Fi, NFC and GPS.
