Today the FCC approved the HTC Nexus 9, which has been rumored to be awaiting an October 16th release. The documentation proves that the screen does not sport the usual 16:9 aspect ratio that we see with most other Android devices. The FCC approved the device, however, so we can expect it to be coming our way fairly soon. HTC has a press release scheduled next week, but unfortunately, it seems the press conference will not bring us the next Nexus tablet. You'll just have to wait.
Are you planning on purchasing the HTC Nexus 9? What's holding you back? Should it be a lower price? All of these questions and more can be answered about the tablet in the comment section below!

Doesn’t sound like it is going to have a memory card slot.Bummer!!
I’m looking forward to see this tablet and eventually ordering it. I am also considering th Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but the 10.1 inch (or whatever larger) size. I want the Nexus because of its easier updatability and the fact that it will be the first one to get the latest and greatest Androids in the future. But the Note 4 will have larger display and perhaps more CPU power.
I will buy this tablet as soon as it is available!
at least a 9-inch 64-bit Android tablet with solid HTC build will be future-proof until the arrival of Android L, else Windows 10 with newer 64-bit intel processor is a compelling alternative for mobile power users
It mentions price as “should it be a lower price” has that been confirmed? I expect a reasonable price, but will pay for quality. I’m so desperate for an official announcement. (My trusty N7 tablet has finally given up) :-)
I’m in that boat as well. My N7 gave up a while back.
My first HTC is One M8 and am super happy to have it as a replacement for my iPhone 5s, even iPhone 6 hasn’t convinced me to ditch my M8. I strongly believe that Nexus9 will do the same to my ipad air.
Come on we’re all waiting
