Ouch. It appears it's a ‘one step forward and two steps back' scenario for HTC this month, as the company experienced a sales dip after two months of positive sales in March and April.
Despite some huge forecasts for HTC this year after the release of the HTC One (M8), it appears the company hasn't been able to follow through.
HTC has had a month-on-month drop of 4.59 percent in May, and a year-on-year declind of 27.37 percent. Revenue for May is NT$21,065 million, compared to NT$22,079 million in April.
But sources say that HTC is expecting sales to bump back up in June, so only time will tell. Hopefully the smartphone maker will be on the right side of things this time, so it can continue putting out masterpieces like the M8.
