Last year when Samsung announced the Galaxy S 4, HTC took the opportunity to take some potshots at Samsung. Samsung's announcement of the Galaxy S 5 today at MWC 2014 gave HTC another opportunity to dig at Samsung via Twitter. The results were mixed with one tweet implying Samsung buyers would regret their decision when March 25th rolls around. That attempt fell short of the mark since Samsung's Galaxy S 5 won't be going on sale until April, so there will be nothing to feel remorse over.

HTC returned with another tweet later to try to clear up the March 25th date in the first tweet. In the second tweet, they indicate you can “See it. Hear it. Feel it.” on March 25th. Along with the tweets, HTC's Chairwoman Cher Wang called the HTC One the best phone on the market and that the best will be getting better on March 25th.

The efforts probably did not do much to dissuade potential buyers of the Samsung Galaxy S 5, but they do seem to confirm March 25th as the reveal date for the new HTC One.

Check back for more MWC 2014 coverage and to see whether HTC decides to try to take any more digs at Samsung.
