T-Mobile Germany have pushed back the launch of the G2 Touch (HTC Hero) back a month into August. Originally planned for launch in July, the official T-Mobile Germany website lists the G2 touch as being ready for consumers from the beginning of August.

Just last week, T-Mobile UK’s official twitter feed confirmed that the G2 Touch was still on track for the planned July launch across the UK, but there is still no mention of the device on their website.
It isn’t yet known whether the delay of the G2 Touch in Germany will have a knock on effect with the UK launch, but it does seem likely.
The HTC Hero is also expected to launch across the Orange network this month, with recent rumors suggesting a July 21-24th release date.
UPDATE: It seems that Amazon.co.uk have now also changed their listed release date of the HTC Hero to August 15th.
This is the second change Amazon.co.uk have made to their SIM free Hero listing, changing the original date from July 15th, to the 24th, and now it seems into the second week of August.
Thanks for the tip Adam!
