Looking for info about the Motorola Razr? We've got you covered.
This list includes just about anything you'd need to know, including where to buy it, the best accessories for the Razr, and all the news around the internet surrounding Motorola's latest folding phone.
About the Motorola Razr
Motorola announced the Razr back in November after months of rumors and speculation. The phone itself was set to be a Verizon exclusive device in the US and an EE exclusive phone in the UK, and launched in February of 2020.
The hardware is decent enough, with a higher-end Snapdragon 710 CPU, 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, and some decent cameras, although it's not set to compete at the very top end of smartphones.
The launch wasn't smooth, however; the Razr was impossible to find on launch day, and even weeks after it became available it can still be tough to track down. Unfortunately for Motorola, Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip seems to have taken away a big chunk of the excitement for the phone, especially considering the Razr scored pretty middling reviews once it went out in the wild.

Motorola Razr reviews
Overall reviews for the Razr haven't been great. Most reviewers noted that the design itself is actually really good, but basically everything else is a trade-off: the cameras are just okay, battery life isn't great, and everyone has (justified) concerns about the phone's durability.
Engadget found that the Razr had a really cool design and novelty factor, but the mediocre battery life, cameras, and other specs weighed down a phone that's really expensive at $1500.
One of the more positive reviews about the phone from CNET found that its sleek design and outer display were very cool, but the high price tag, middling specs, and durability concerns make it a tough purchase.
PCMag noted how great the design of the Razr is, and how it's coupled with elegant software that takes advantage of the form factor. But for $1500, it's got a ton of drawbacks from bad battery life, average cameras, and a creaking hinge.
The Verge offers one of the most critical reviews, stating that if it didn't fold it wouldn't even be a worthwhile purchase at $250 thanks to mediocre hardware and features across the board. The price tag and Verizon exclusivity just sealed the deal.
