Having finally confirmed that it will unveil the Galaxy S24 at its Unpacked event on January 17, Samsung has already started its Reserve program to get potential buyers to register their interest in the new flagships. Packing Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset (in the US, at least), the Galaxy S24 series consists of the Galaxy S24, the S24+, and the S24 Ultra.
What Is The Reserve Program?
It's basically how Samsung entices early adopters to sign up to register their interest in the new Galaxy S24 series with the carrot being the $50 credit that is given once the pre-order has been completed. Pre-orders will almost certainly go live on January 17 after the Unpacked launch event finishes. Those who signed up for the Reserve Program can complete their orders via the Samsung online store and thus receive the $50 store credit that can be used on accessories for the handset.
You can reserve your Galaxy S24 between now and January 16 via the Samsung.com link below simply by entering your name and email address. Completing the order can be done on the Samsung website or via the Shop Samsung app on your current handset, it's that easy.
What If You Change Your Mind?
The good thing about the Reserve Program is that it's commitment-free, you can register your interest and then decide not to follow through with the purchase without any obligation, with no money changing hands. Sure, you won't get the $50 store credit but then again, you won't have bought the phone.
Any Further Discounts?
As is often the case when Samsung launches a new flagship, you can snag a Galaxy S24 model with the next level of storage at no extra cost. This means you'll be able to get the 256GB base model for the price of the 128GB variant and so on for all three handsets.
And, according to Samsung's Reservation page, when completing the order on Samsung.com or in the Samsung Shop app, buyers will be eligible for an extra $25, $75, or even $100 store credit (depending on the phone model purchased) on top of the $50 earned simply by reserving a Galaxy S24.
Samsung has also pointed out that there may be additional savings on top of the $50 credit if you are a student, in the military, a first responder, or if your company offers employee perks. It's worth checking out if you are eligible.
What Else?
Well, Samsung usually offers promotional deals during the pre-order period consisting of enhanced trade-in deals, free accessories, or even more cashback. Naturally, we'll keep you informed as and when Samsung makes these details for the Galaxy S24 promotional campaign public.
